Capacitor Reference - Macintosh Plus

The Macintosh Plus's logic board uses all axial capacitors and doesn't usually need service. The analog board does often need recapping, although usually these caps just wear out rather than leaking, so if your Plus is working fine, you can leave it alone.

Reference Values

Logic Board

Value Count Type
33uf 16v 5 Axial Electrolytic
1uf 50v 1 Axial Electrolytic

Note: The 3.3uf 50v capacitor at position C1 is a non-polarized electrolytic, which is no longer available. It should be replaced with a film capacitor.
