Panasonic (also known by Matsushita, its former corporate name) is a Japanese electronics company that manufactures consumer electronics, batteries, industrial hardware, and more. Panasonic began manufacturing laptop computers in the 1980s, and continues to do so today. They are best known for their Toughbook line of ruggedized laptops, which they have been selling for over 30 years. They also sell the Let's Note line of more normal laptops, mainly in their home market of Japan.
