IBM PS/Note 425 and 425C

IBM PS/Note 425 and 425C

IBM Type 2618

The IBM PS/Note 425 and 425C are 486-based laptops that were released in 1993. They were the last models in the PS/Note line, which was phased out in favor of the ThinkPad line which was introduced in 1992.

The 425 and 425C share a similar case design to previous PS/Notes, but are painted black instead of gray, and have a TrackPoint in the keyboard. IBM sold this same laptop under the ThinkPad name as the 350 and 350C, with the only difference aside from branding being that the ThinkPad versions had a single PCMCIA slot on the rear side of the laptop.

For manuals, information on common faults, images, and more on these laptops, see the ThinkPad 350 page.
