HP OmniBook XE2
The OmniBook XE2 is a laptop that was released in 1999, and then updated in 2000 with newer processors and a couple other minor changes. The original 1999 revision used Pentium II and PII-based Celeron processors, while the 2000 revision shipped with Pentium III, PIII-based Celeron, or AMD K6-2 processors.
The XE2 was the entry-level laptop in the OmniBook lineup. It replaced the OmniBook XE, which shared a pretty much identical design and mostly identical specs.

Common Faults & Maintenance
The OmniBook XE2's plastics have gone extremely brittle, which results in hinge failure as the plastic case cracks around the hinges. Epoxy will be required to reinforce these areas.
