Elitegroup Computer Systems is a computer hardware company and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) that is based in Taiwan. They merged with Alpha-Top Corporation in August, 2001, after which they continued Alpha-Top's "Green" series of laptops, along with introducing the DeskNote/iBuddie series of laptops, both in 2002. In 2006, ECS purchased Uniwill, another ODM laptop manufacturer. ECS manufactures laptops to this day, but this page will for now only extend up through around 2007/2008.
