Chaplet Systems (Chinese: 昌磊電子工業股份有限公司) was a Taiwan-based Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) that produced laptop computers. They were a division of Chinese Automobile Co., LTD., which was one of Taiwan's largest auto manufacturers at the time. Chaplet did sell under their own name, and their laptops frequently show up as Chaplets and not something else, although they did plenty of ODM sales as well. Chaplet was acquired by Toshiba in 1999.
