Welcome to the AMS Tech Homepage on MacDat!

AMS was a reseller/vendor that sold laptops manufactured by several different Taiwanese ODMs, mainly from Arima, MiTAC, and Chicony (among others). This page works as a cross-reference between the AMS model names and the original ODM model names for each of the laptops they sold. AMS got their own FCC IDs for some of their laptops, but don't be fooled, none of them were manufactured in-house. AMS changed their logo multiple times, but I'm not aware of any other company named AMS that sold laptops, so any laptop you find that's branded AMS should be from this company.
